We loved the year and a half we spent living in Copenhagen. Especially during the summer time when one can bike around the boulevards, enjoy dining outside, take a boat out on the canals and jump in for a swim.
Travel info
We hope that our international guests can take the opportunity to explore not just Copenhagen, but also the surrounding countries in northern Europe - you will be surprised how close everything is!
From Copenhagen, rent a car and drive north through Sweden to Oslo, or south to Berlin (both 6hrs). We warmly recommend exploring the Norwegian south and west coast, or venture further north to the Lofoten Islands to experience the midnight sun and breathtaking landscapes. Metropolitan experiences include Paris, London and Barcelona, all less than a 3hr flight time from Copenhagen. For cruise travel, there is the Hurtigruten Arctic cruise, and great options in the Baltic Sea.
